I want to remove one icon which is System Antivirous 2008 icon from my control panel. It look like a spy virous on my pc. I ran antivirous in my pc.

I got a virus thru all these pop-up ads on the internet, and anytime I type in a trusty website to rid my computer of it, it shuts down. Hackers program the virus to work that way. Also, I did a system scam, and private imformation is being stolen. I need a reliable free site if anyone knows of one please.

so I am trying to get an Antivirus program for my LAPTOP. I just cant choose one . I was thinking on getting Norton Antivirus 2008, but I see the reviews on some website and they are all bad. I just dont know what to do. Do any of you know if Norton antivirus 2008 is a good program? by the way I have Windows Vista.

When I right click on it in the taskbar thing next to the time on my computer, it WONT go away until you click on something, and there’s no exit button.

and I can’t uninstall it. :O

i have an older version of norton and my computer aparently is infected, because when i use internet i have trouble. So i bought another antivirus 2008 , i want to know if the new program will clean up whatever virus im infected with automatically when i install it or I have to clean it up first and then install it.
