antivirgear and some other programs are trying to get into my system…. seriously what do i do to stop it? will those programs help? or just make it worse? what is a virus? y is it on my computer?

And also no icon of uninstall in programme file norton anti virus folder.And no icon near the clock so i can,t disable this please help i realy wanted rid of it.

i finally found how to uninstall it and i clicked it and it said successfully uninstalled, but then come to find out its still on my toolbar and isnt completely off of my computer. how do i COMPLETELY get it off of my computer? thankks!
