I am pretty sure it has worked but not completely, the boxes don’t pop up anymore but apparently the hackers can get our personal information..if we were to type in a password etc..

my mom just bought me a new laptop and when we were talking to a msn person on the phone they said that if we have msn premium, (which we do) we dont need to have an anti virus or a spy sweeper.

is that true, cuz we never heard that before.

Computer associates has a banner that hovers over the corner of the screen everytime it updates. Its quite obnoxious.

as an example yesterday when i connected my phone it warned me about an autorun.inf worm that was continuously trying to run…and some other items which are quarantined cannot be deleted …any ideas?

Someone told me to either delete a program through Programs, and then Uninstall, or through Add or Remove Programs, but I don’t remember which. I was told one of them might leave some of the program on my computer.

Windows Antivirus 2008 only appeared around about 9/30/08. The pop up also includes Ultimate Antivirus.
