I just uploaded this new software, and realized that its another ‘clone’ and that it only scares you so that you can purchase it.
So, now I want to remove it, and I looked online and the instructions were kind of difficult to understand.
For instance, they are telling me to go to task manager and erase a ‘file’ but I don’t know what file that is.
Please help, and please give me specific details!

I’m buying a 2nd Hand PC and want to check it for viruses. I have no Internet Connection and no Antivirus Program to uinstall. It will take me a few weeks to get connected to the net or buy an Antivirus Program, but the guy selling the PC want to make a quick sale today….HELP!!!

Any program as long as it works and i can download it off the internet. I need a virus protector asap, because it seems like i have a ton of viruses. If you don’t do you know any GREAT sites that have free antiviruse programs which arent trial and dont recquire me to buy anything ? if you can help me, it’d be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

All computers have antivirus programs built into them. Then after 3 months you get all of these pop ups warning you to get more.
Is this really necessary? You aren’t going to lose ALL protection if you don’t purchase it are you? Need to know fast!!

I have an acer Travelmate 2300. I currently have aol antivirus, but I think it is slowing computer. I already have spybot SD, Windows defender, Ad-Aware and also clean-up!. I just need to download a free antivirus I won’t one that can protect really well and doesn’t slow the performance of my laptop. I have gotta a couple of viruses before I download aol, and also with aol my computer has had weird interuptions, like freezing, can someone please help me!! also if you can prove your answer would be nice, if not the suggestion we would be helpful too, thanks!

I loaded Symmetric Antivirus on and now my internet browser are not working. I have even gone as far as removing the browsers and reinstalling then. I have internet connect. I pinged google and yahoo and I pinged my other computer that is on my work group. Does anyone know whats going on?

There is no place at the Windows Security Center to do this. The antivirus protection is by CA eTrust Antivirus. Thank you for your help!
