I want to test my virus protection.

It is preventing me from visiting commercial websites, especially when I try to purchase some software to get rid of it. I already have Zonealarm and SpySweeper but I haven’t scanned in a month. I recently scanned and found nothing!

I tried to remove this virus called xp antivirus2008.. I think I have but my computer is slow and it doesn’t open my computer it gives me a msg saying close window its debugged and my comp is still giving me some problems so maybe i have some of the virus left..how can i get rid of it completely even if its another virus or spyware? Btw I tried Mcafee and Spyware doctor, they didn’t help so much.

I looked up Kaspersky Anti Virus and ESET Anti Virus and they got good reviews? Are these any good?

I’m using a computer in Taiwan but downloaded defender pro in english which uses Kaspersky antivirus. I used it to neutralize a ton of vbs viruses that had infected my pictures but now all my pictures are gone and some of the web pages won’t work. Is there a language conflict?

I have Bitdefender which woks insainly well but sometimes I’m working on computers that have tons of viruses and spyware so I’m wondering what antivirus and antispyware programs computer shops use like say when you bring in your infected computer to them?

I tried to go to the add remove programs, but there is no button for remove on Sophos antivirus. Is there another way to remove the program?
I checked the program files and there is nothing that says uninstall. Can I just delete the whole folder in the program files? Will that take the program off the computer?
