And one more thing, will the best free antivirus protect me as good as a nonfree antivirus?

This program was pre-installed on my laptop and now I want to eliminate it. I´ve seen there´s an Uninstaller available however it doesnt remove it completely. When I try to start the procedure, it asks me to insert the Default CD.

it’s a virus that downloads itself onto your computer without you noticing, and makes you think that you have a Trojan virus. i need to know what i have to do to destroy it.

Where can I get a free antivirus for the computer?

the only thing is that when it says that its free it only lets you download it and scan the computer, but if the computer has infections you have to register it or buy it.

Can anyone give me a site where i can get a free antivirus that scans and removes anything that the computer might have

I’m looking for an antivirus progam for my computer. Something that can eliminate exsisting viruses that my be in my system and prevent me from getting more. Prefferably something free. If so what site can I download it from?

I downloaded Panda Antivirus 2006 like a 1 year ago and want to get rid of it for some reason when i tried to go to add/remove programs and click on remove for it nothing happnens i waited and waited and still nothing i tired to delete the files manually but it wondnt let me. what should i do?

i had my PC formatted recently, the guy installed NOD 32 anti virus but everytime i try to update, it asks for user name and password, where to get those
i have no idea what email id he used

any other ideas,
should i uninstall it and install avast anitvirus, so i can have it regularly updated?
i tried many latest usernames and password combinations i found on the net, but the enter username password window keeps re-appearing
