I have no adware found, clean up internet files n cookies often, run spyware all the time and it takes forever to get my computer going. We were talking about it in class today the Norton Antivirus makes your computer do the same thing, but I wasn’t sure about Symantec??

if you have a low space computer and a slow computer then it will take time when strating but if you have space like 140 gb or above and fast computer then it shouldn’t be slow

The presence of malware all compete for system at start up memory but your computer significantly especially if it is resource intensive program so if it can slow down your operating system at start.

Symantec and Norton are one in the same. Symantec brought out Norton some years ago and still uses the name for the product. Yes, it will cause your computer to start up slower however you have to remember that this program is checking your system as it loads/starts up to prevent viruses from running. Also as you add more programs that starts up at boot time you will see your system slow down slightly as they run. For instance, do you really need adobe reader and quicktime to startup when you first turn your system on? No. These program can run when you really need them.
