How do I turn off the system scan at startup for Norton Antivirus?

I want the antivirus to startup but not to run a full scan - it takes way too long and I can’t do anything else while the scan is running.

For nav 2007 open norton antivirus tab go to the setings are different depending on your system scan schedules.
The setings are different depending on your system scan from there you can adjust your norton product but for nav 2007 open norton product but for nav 2007 open norton antivirus tab go to the norton select configure scan schedules.

go to run type msconfig go to start up and unclick Norton. or download winpatrol and use there start up function category to shut it down
