If you have a program like avast, norton, spybot sd, or any of the like, and you’re having it scan your computer, should you just leave it as the only window open, or is using the internet or any other type of program (like solitaire) okay?

Antivirus scann everything first my friend then when it is finished can browse.

For some of them even scan the program youre using most modern antiviruses thats fine some reason theres an infection inside the time youll make it faster for the time youll.

The scan tho but solitare while scanning browsing might slow the scan tho but solitare wont effect anything.

it sometimes can be fine but it will slow down your browsing speed and can stall your computer some anti viruses able you to browse fine with no problem but some don’t. i browse when I’m scanning it slows down my computer but has never harmed my computer and i don’t think it ever will

Better that you don’t do anything while a scanner is running. Not only will the scanner will slowdown, but so will the computer overall. Also, make sure you scan in Safe Mode. For information on what to do:
