Recently, I downloaded the avast! antivirus. It detected many viruses. In the dialog box where the virus threat was found there was written that the recommended action to the file must be putting it in the Virus Chest. What is Virus Chest and how does it
help me?

It is like a recycle bin. The virus is put there so if you decide it wasn’t a threat later you can move it back. The virus cant to any harm when in the chest.
