I cannot get the anti virus to open and turn on again. What do I do next?

i had my PC formatted recently, the guy installed NOD 32 anti virus but everytime i try to update, it asks for user name and password, where to get those
i have no idea what email id he used

any other ideas,
should i uninstall it and install avast anitvirus, so i can have it regularly updated?
i tried many latest usernames and password combinations i found on the net, but the enter username password window keeps re-appearing

I have windows xp and I just reinstalled the operating system. I just updated to internet explorer 7, after I was up and running. Now every time I try to log into my website it blocks me, it says I need to buy anti virus 2009. I do not want this servis, any idea how to access my sites without buying or registering anti virus 2009?

well im about to buy a computer, and i want to buy a really good antivirus program that will seriously protect my computer.i really dont know much about anti-virus programs and thats why i need ur help.i dont care if it costs a fortune, but i want it to really protect my computer no matter what.i would also like some prove that the program recommended is really great.
