I was thinking of intstalling about 3 antivirus to improve my protection. Will that be better then one.

My computer has been infected with spyware called XP Antivirus Protection. What is the best way to remove this spyware? Will McAfee remove it if I subscribe to that?

to back up with my avira antivirus software.
it can’t be BIT DEFENDER either, already tried that and windows vista said it was incompatible. every other one i tried has real time protection which could conflict with avira, i know i could always disable it as a start up program but would rather find one that didn’t on its own.

And I’m planning to uninstall avast antivirus because i already have McAfee Virus Protection but I’m not very sure yet. avast antivirus automatically tells me if what I’m download is spyware/adware/virus but with McAfee, you have to scan it but it doesnt detect as much.

Should I uninstall avast Antivirus?

There is no place at the Windows Security Center to do this. The antivirus protection is by CA eTrust Antivirus. Thank you for your help!
