I have an anti vurus installed already the pop ups seems to be download registry and Anti virus xp . Does anyone know what I should do?

im planning on upgrading my vista home premium to Ultimate and i dont have the antivirus cd so i cant reinstall it
I do have an external hardrive, what can i do?

SO, i have the dreaded antivirus 2009 on my computer. It has completely taken over i think i can still do stuff, but it has block all access to the internet. I am currently using another computer of mine trying to find the answers of getting rid of it. Some one told me that i need to delete everything from computer in start over from scratch. The problem with that is i dont know how to do it if someone could tell me it would be great!

When I try to run Nod or Spybot, it just says … is not a valid Win32 application’ so now I’m basically without any protection. Do you have any idea what the problem is and how I can fix it?

Ok. I play this game called FlyFF and before when i had NO antivirus, it ran smoothly, but now i installed McAfee, there’s no dramatic change in lagness, but only when i go to crowded areas, it lags… My computer meets all the system requirements to run the game.. What else can i do to lower the lag? Also, will uninstalling my antivirus make FlyFF unlaggy like before?

I’m trying to create a flash drive that you can run an antivirus scanner application which scans the computer it plugs in to. Is this feasible or not? How do you create this? Thanks!

I have downloaded a spyware doctor.. It still comes up with this antispyware thing that will NOT go away..

If so then can you tell me which ones i can use that are good for my computer? Also if they are free or not? Are antivirus and spyware two different things, because i know that if you have two of the same type of protection software on your computer it causes problems. Could you please recommend some? Thanks a bunch to everyone who answers!
