i am using AVG antivirus and have 10 trojan horses in my computer.

actually when i try to scan my comp the scan starts but the computer reboots in between, i have avg 8.0 antivirus. i restored the windows, but the problem persists.

Say it had viruses quarantined or something, would it release those viruses? I plan on re-installing it shortly after, but I’d like to know the risk factor here.

I tried AVG antivirus, but it doesn’t remove it completely..
It just alerts me very couple of seconds that winfixer is a potential threat …
Any help is greatly appreciated

After installing avg antivirus, avg will create a folder named avg8 on the directory: Documents and SettingsAll UsersApplication Data.
Inside the folder avg8 folder, there is folder named log.
Can I delete or is it safe to delete the files inside it?
It already reached 100+ megabytes.

I have AVG Antivirus, but I found that the virus seems to keep copying itself every time I rescan the computer for more viruses. I need to find an Antivirus that is free and that can solve the problem. Can anyone help?
