I have an acer Travelmate 2300. I currently have aol antivirus, but I think it is slowing computer. I already have spybot SD, Windows defender, Ad-Aware and also clean-up!. I just need to download a free antivirus I won’t one that can protect really well and doesn’t slow the performance of my laptop. I have gotta a couple of viruses before I download aol, and also with aol my computer has had weird interuptions, like freezing, can someone please help me!! also if you can prove your answer would be nice, if not the suggestion we would be helpful too, thanks!

I have Zone Alarm Pro and AVG 7.5 which keeps saying that after May 31, I’ll have to upgrade to AVG 8, which from reading reviews I understand is CRAP. Is it really crap because I uninstalled AVG 7.5, downloaded Avast, and I don’t understand things. It says it is not compatible or some crap. Is AVIRA any good?. Please will a computer wizard answer soon.HELP!

I got a virus thru all these pop-up ads on the internet, and anytime I type in a trusty website to rid my computer of it, it shuts down. Hackers program the virus to work that way. Also, I did a system scam, and private imformation is being stolen. I need a reliable free site if anyone knows of one please.
